NP205 speedometer gear housing removal

I have a new one of these but my 1 1/8" impact socket won't fit in there because of how close it is to the case. Before I waste money on a regular wall 1 1/8" socket will this fit or does it take a special tool?

Also, what is the size of the nut on the output shaft yoke?

Trying to get this thing from dripping gear oil all over my driveway!
