Heres a challenge for you all!

O.K. I installed a new 350 in my truck about three months back. Ran O.K. but not the power gain I was expecting from going from my 305 to a 350. Motor went in and fired up without any real hangups except the fact that the throttle was stuck wide open (that story was in another post). Any way it ran real hot and real fast for a bit and I had to lean the carb way way out to make it run right which seemed strange but it worked so I went with it. The no power thing was killing me though. I had replaced all but like two vacuum lines I admit so I replaced the other two which seemed O.K. seemed to make a difference, not sure though. I have been having problems with my truck cutting out though especially on accerleration. choke is adjusted properly though and all vacuum hoses tight (brand new) new EGR and everything and I mean everything that should go along with a new motor. The truck would die anywhere and every where for no apparent reason and then it would be fine for a day or two and then all of a sudden it would choke again. This was really driving me crazy! To the point where I almost gave up on the truck! I even replaced the tranny with a good 350 that I had from another truck that I wrecked a while back but no go. still running one day and then not the next and then power and then none and on and on it went...until today! Any guesses?
