no budget build

well about a year ago my neighbor gave me a 66 chevy 4x4 c10. now i was new to pickups and this one had ALOT of dents. so i told him thank you and never took it. moral of the story is look at the pickup before you ask about it. well the guy i got the pickup from is about 60 years old. his dad bought the pickup new in 66 and they used it as a fuel wagon and hay hauler for many years. they parked it about 20 years ago. dan is the guys name. he learned to drive in that pickup. it was parked in a shed untill about 5 years ago when dan moved it to his house outside. he was guna restore it but ya'll know how that goes. so anyways i got it and tried to start it. no spark. anyways finally i looked at it again about a month ago and was like this is all fixable. so i took it into the highschool parking lot where i got it running. so far it has no brakes, and the throwout bearing is so loud you cant hear yourself think. but it runs perfect.
so last summer i got some 42in tsl superswamper tires. well there all cracked and bald and my dad told me i was an idiot for getting them. but whatever. so im thinking that i can fit them under my 66 with another 5in lift. but ive heard that the biggest i can go safely is 3in? anyways im in the process of tearing the leafs off now so ill see how it goes.
so far ive got a new hood, new doors, and a newer seat. that is about all i will need as far as body panels that i cant fix myself.
ok so here is where it all comes together.....i have not spent a single penny on this pickup! and i dont plan to. all the parts ive used i have gotten for free or bought awhile ago with no plans to put them on this pickup. but now i need some gear oil for the axles so thats going to get tricky but ill figure some kind of trade out. also i forgot to mension that my other neighbor gave me a set of 350 motor mounts and another guy gave me 2 350 motors. so i guess thats a done deal too. ill get some pics tomorrow if i have time and let ya'll know how the tires work out.
