For you 4WD guys.....

I am close to assembling the 700R4 NP205 setup into the 67' 3/4 ton. The 205 is from a 75' and does NOT have the mounting holes in the end of the case to accomodate the L-bracket that my T221 used.

I have spoken with several 4WD "enthusiasts" locally and one professional and they all seem to agree that it is unnessesary and most of the late trucks with the 205 only were supported by the trans to case adapter. Which explains the lack of mounting holes.

I obviously have the facilities to machine it correctly,but is it necessary for a vehicle that see's very limited "abuse"?
