motor mount position

I'm pulling a motor swap soon in my 67 suburban and am hoping someone can help me out on motor mount positioning. removing a 292 I-6 the mount on the driver side is in the two rear frame holes and the two front holes on the passenger side. where is correct for small block ? which is easier ? I am also swapping trannys and will have a driveshaft built, so those will not affect my placement(will it?) sorry for the length, any help would be great - trying to save myself some trial and error hassle if possible. thanks!
