Intake manifold repair

Hello,

I am planning to install a heli coil in one of the carb stud holes and I am needing some info.

1.) What size heli coil do I need to install?
2.) Where can I typically find them? Auto parts store? Harbor Freight?

On a side note, since having tips installed on the mufflers and the interior no longer has a drone to it, I hear something making a tapping noise that is in time with the engine. Can't hear the noise in the engine bay. I am hoping it is something loose in the dash, but I am concerned otherwise. Any ideas? Thanks.
