Cool 1963 Stepside

A friend of mine runs a repair shop and has this 1963 Chevy Stepside pickup truck that me and a buddy are putting back together. We painted the frame the same color as the body which of course is organe. My friend is a body man and painted the stepsides and other pieces.

In there pics are the stepside being put in place with seam sealer. The passenger side gave us a lot of problem since someone else did the body work on filled most of the mounting holes. We only have a couple of free ones to mount it and then drill out the rest.

Also you will notice that we are smoothing the firewall.

It's going to be a nice truck once its done. The owner is going to put a 383 stroker motor with a small blower that will fit under the hood.
