Speed Sensor location? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can anyone tell me where to find the vehicle speed sensor on my 04 GMC Sierra 2500HD? 4L80e trans... I have no speedo and the ABS and emergency brake lights are on. Trans also shifts really hard most of the time, and readin on the forums seems to point to the speed sensor but i can't find anywhere that gives the location! is it that sensor on the upper driver side of the tcase?

Any other ideas on possible causes for these conditions?
