Talking My truck

This is what my truck looks like right now. I just did a redneck paintjob on the back of it to get rid of the surface rust. It's not the same color of the front, but it looks better than rust, I think. I have 33" tires with no lift. It is a 1969 3/4 ton 4x4 with only about 45,000 miles on it. The motor is original and still has really good compression on all 8 cylinders. I bought it about 2 1/2 years ago, and paid $4,000 for it. The rims and tires that are on it in the picture were on it when I bought it. It has an Edelbrock 600cfm Performer carb on it. Other than that, it is pretty much stock. There is no radio. It has a block off plate where the radio goes, and I don't intend to put one in there. I like to listen to the sound of the engine when I drive. Pretty cool I think.

33's with no lift, gotta love it!
A man and his truck, it's a beautiful thing.
