Carrier Suport Bearing question

I have a 71 chevy long bed that has a carrier bearing and replaced it. Things were fine for a few days and it started to squeal and make a faint noise while driving. Now that the weather is hot and I do mean hot it has been squealing a lot and in reverse also. I am begining to think the yoke is to tight which is causing it to squeal. Since I couldn't get it apart myself I had a local shop do it. Any help will be greatfull. It sounds like crap with my truck looking this great.
