Project Gordo

I found a Chevy C-30 crew cab that was for sale. This is a truck that my dad and uncle has owned and its been in the family for years. This truck has been sitting for about 7 years. a Chevy 350 powers this truck, but the original was a diesel. Truck has a 14 bolt full floater rear end, and it should be equipped with a TH400 transmission. I purchased the truck as it sits in this picture:

Since then, I have put a used set of tires on it because the old ones were obviously toast, and cleaned out the junk that was in the cab / bed.

I got the vehicle towed (could not find a trailer or dolly big enough to tow it myself).

I installed a starter, put a new battery cable in, cleaned out the mouse nest from inside the air filter, checked all fluids, and dribbled a little gas in the carb and it started right up.

I have been reading many forums on these trucks and have been thinking out ideas for this truck. I think I will enjoy wrenching on this thing for a while.
