2nd HID retrofit - FX-35r to 1991 Lamps

Re-doing my current HID setup. Currently using projectors out of a VW Passat and work fine, just not bi-xenon. Before I remove them (once finished) I will do a side by side. It will also aid in selling the current setup on ebay one day.
I am making this setup the same way as before. Start with the lamp, and mark out a circle. To make the circle perfect, or near peracfect, I had some scrap exhaust tubing from previous projects and 2.5 was not the ideal fit, but close... Centered scrap tubing on the back of the lamp, marked it with a sharpie, and cut it out with a Harbor Freight cut off wheel. ** if you were to cut the hole to the exact size, chances are you will have gotten the lamp too hot and the chrome will have seperated from the metal housing** I know this because it happened on the current setup on the 1st lense I cut a hole in. Knowing this, making the first hole smaller is ok.
Next step was to judge how much larger the hole needed to be, I guessed about 1/16 or the width of a sharpie mark around the edge of the 1st cut. I used a Harbor Freight die grinder and a quality egg shaped carbide bit and opened the hole up to the proper size. I finished the back of the lamp with a hand file and smoothed the outer edge. Now the Lamp is fnished, next step is to modify the bucket so the FX-35r projector fits through the bucket snugly and then design a mounting solution. I mounted the original setup by welding exhaust tubing to the bucket (to seal it) and welded long threaded screws to the exhaust tubing and then secured the projector with bolts on. 2 1/2 years later still rocking the same setup
Heres some pictures I snaped on with the iPhone. I'll take better quality photos later.
