Hot starter!

So I have been having hot start issues whenever I drive the truck. Basically it cranks extremely slow when the truck is warm. Cranks up just fine when the truck is cold. Truck has stock manifolds and stock-ish exhaust.

So was thinking if I bought header wrap off ebay and wrapped the starter and solenoid in it, would this provide adequate insulation against the heat? More than likely I'd wrap the exhaust near the starter as well.
