Project Sub-Zero - 63 Double Dropmember Build

I may be jumping the gun by starting my build thread, but I know you guys won't care as long as there's pictures.

I've been wanting to build a 63 truck for a long time. My dad had a 63 long bed fleetside with the big back window when I was a kid and I've wanted one ever since.

So, I recently bought this 63 swb big back window with intentions of installing Porterbuilt's front and rear dropmembers and setting this baby on the ground.

I have a 2000 S-10 that I bagged several years ago, but it just isn't the same as an "older" truck. My S-10 kinda looks out of place at the local shows and cruise ins my wife and I go to (my dad's 68 Camaro next to my truck)



I have read and re-read Jesse's (DrtyRat) build thread as inspiration and hope to be posting updates on my progress soon. The truck seems to have a pretty good body. It's going to need the usual: cab corners, rockers, etc. but the floors appear to be solid and the engine in it looks / sounds OK.

Plan on going with the 60's them... Red or blue with scallops. Set of whitewalls and Rocket Racing wheels. Going with the tuck and roll interior with some Zodiac metalflake upholstery.
