TH400 / TH700R4 conversion question

Hi Guys ,
question :
will the sliding part of the drive shaft coming out of a TH700R4 fit on a TH400 ? .
I began yesterday to pull the engine/tranny combo ( 6.2 Diesel/TH700 ) out of the Burb I bought , to be replaced by a Olds 350/TH400 combo , coming from my truck...
I have a two pieces drive shaft on the truck , with a sliding part between the two pieces , does the first part of that drive shaft also slide in the tranny

Thanks ,
The Baron
