Rebuilding bucket seats looking for some help
I just picked up a pair of 69-70 buckets that are in pretty bad shape but knowing that I could get all the stuff to rebuild them I didnt hesitate.
The old covers were pretty much gone, the foam is in bad shape and the frames are rusty also. I figured I would take one apart to start and get the frame cleaned up and ready for some new foam and finally a new cover. I discovered that the foam was held on the frame by springs that were embeded inside the foam I was reading that I could get the foams for a 71-72 seat and use on my frames so my question is when I get the new foam will it have the springs built in or is that something I need to dig out of the old pieces? Any help or advice is appreciated. I took a couple of pics to show what I am talking about Thanks in advance
