Well, I knew the clear coat on my truck was bad. It's original paint but I'm doubting the clear coat came from the factory. It's bubbled and is now peeling off in huge flakes. I'm having it painted in Feb. so I figured I could live with the peeling. Maybe I should rethink it. My son was following me today and after we stopped he asked me if I realized I was shedding clear coat all the way down the road.
Apparently the shedding is bad enough that it was sounding like sleet on his car. Now I can't help wondering what the people behind me on the road are thinking.
