Re: How many actually get their truck going again?
I decided this year, my 69 C10 has been held up by $$$ and life's strange circumstances for too long. So I kind of changed the direction of the project. I had a 267 I pulled out of another truck that ran pretty well. So I decided to clean it up and re-seal it and stab it in. I have a 383 all short blocked and a set of heads ready but I just don't have the cash to finish it the way I want it. I want to get the truck running and driving, then just do projects on it to finish it. I think I want to spend some time just enjoying the truck instead of just endlessly working on it. This is where my 76 K10 is, it's fun to drive and there are tons of things that could be done to make it better a little at a time. Its nice to know that others have trouble getting motivated and its nice to have this forum to help get the juices flowing again.
