My first build, 1972 C10 Custom

I am fairly new to the forum, so I hope to get a chance to meet some of you and learn tips along the way. So far, this forum ROCKS!

Here are some pics of my work in progress. It is not a daily driver, but I use it often for my work to get materials for certain jobs. I build custom cabinets so a truck is a must. Hoping next year to start a frame off restoration. For now I am going to get the body work done and decent coat of paint to get me by until finances can allow me to do it right, and somewhere to keep my truck while working on it. Bought it for $250 about 10 years ago with a locked up 307 and the truck was in bad shape. Have down some upgrades since then as money allowed. It has a rebuilt 350 that was bored .060 when I got it and I put Vortec heads on it and all painted with Por-15. The motor runs strong and sounds great. It breathes with an Edelbrock 600cfm carb and an HEI ignition setup. Will find my pics of the engone work and post them later.

Other than the fenders and under the cab (supports), the body is in good shape other than the bed rust spots. Any good way to fix these besides cut and weld?
