Lower radiator hose cant make the bend! I've tried everything! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys I'm pretty desperate here. After trying many flex hoses, including the spectre performance flex hose. The biggest radiator hose spectre makes is only 18" long with 1 3/4" hose ends. I could not get it to work. I have come to realize that I just can not find a lower radiator hose that makes the sharp bends it needs to make.

I order the Tuff Stuff High flow long water pump. Turns out the pump inlet is around 1 5/8" I can not find a hose that will work! Did they send me the wrong pump?

Has anyone run into this before? The stock molded hose has to make such a weird turn I dont know if I will be able to match it.

Any other ideas? Should I try a molded hose off of a car with a differnt make or model?
