1967 C10 Long/Fleet

Time to start a build thread... The 1967... the first year of the body style and my first of this body style...

I picked up this pickup the first week of the year... Craigslist find, no engine/trans, body fairly straight, no rust, clean title... $450.

Within the first week, thanks to my "bro's", I quickly gathered up some parts that they donated to me. Greg (panelrat65) hooked me up with a set of steelies for it. 15x8's for the rear, 15x6's for the front. He also gave me a set of original T3 headlights for it to fill those holes in the front... along with many other parts. Thanks Greg!!

My other buddy, Danny, hooked me up with a pair of brand new BFG Radial T/A's for it... with the stickers! 235/60r15. I plan on running those up front with some larger in the rear.

Then, Danny's brother Abraham, who I like to call "Mr. President" hooked me up with a fresh 250 straight 6 and SM420 4 speed out of a '68 Chevy... complete from carb to pan... I'll be going to load that up real soon. Thanks Abe!

I also got a box of parts from my buddy Rich (striptnut) including clutch linkage and a pair of headlight buckets for the T-3's.

I've been to the junkyard and picked up a radiator and a few other misc. parts that I'll be needing.
