Lowering kits
Hoping to pick up a 2004 1500 swb reg cab this week and when I get it home I will be ordering a 4-6 lowering kit for it. I plan on putting 20" wheels on it and have tbss wheels in mind but need to do some research on the fitment of those on these trucks. Think I need adapters and not sure if that will push the wheels out to far to tuck them when I get it lowered. Now I was looking at McGaughy's Lowering Kits and DJM kits. Now DJM uses lower control arms to take care of the front and on my 1989 I has had I used DJM and I had to run a smaller tires cause it would rub on the lower control arm when turned to lock. Is that the case on these trucks? Or if you guys have a kit you favor can you shed some light on it for me. Been 10 years since I have a lowered rig. Thanks!!
