Some progress on my first project

Hello,
Haven't been on the forum for a while but I came on because I needed some inspiration haha. I'm working on my truck outside in wisconsin and have been slowed up because of wind chill and a couple of feet of snow. I never posted pics in my last post so ere are a few. All I've done so far is a little rewiring to get the lights/signals to work and to get it to start reliably. I also took out the interior and patched and primed the floors/ gave it a thorough cleaning. I hope to have the truck finished by the time I get my license in june. By the way it's a 69' C20. I just want it to look good. I'm strapped on cash so as far as performance it'll stick with what it has... muncie 4 speed and 283 with performer intake and q jet. I plan on running duals and dumping before the axle... i found this universal kit at jegs for 100 bucks so I'll give it a try. My first question is safety related... I want the truck to have 3 point belts... it has non original bucket seats on a home welded frame. The area where the original belts bolted to the floor is pretty flimsy... should I weld in a patch or could I just bolt the belt to my seat frame? Thanks any advice/ input about anything is greatly appreciated. Sorry these pics suck but all I have. More to come.
