68 swb build

Hello folks, I purchased this truck some years ago pulling it out of the black berry bushes outside of Hillsboro Oregon. After running the vin. I came to learn that it was built in Freemont California and left the factory with a 350, 4 speed, and a 12 bolt posi. A rare find I thought. I started building my dream truck by tearing it nearly competely apart and as life and other projects got in the .way, there it sat for nearly three years, in peices. This last fall as times seem to get a little harder, projects and toys went up for sale. I had a lot of people come look at the truck in pieces and now one wanted it. So I began putting back togather and as I did not only did I sell enough items to stay afloat but I fell in love with this old truck all over again. It is now a running/driving project. I have recently converted it to power breaks, electric choke, and power steering. As we have two small children it will never be a show truck but more like a hoodride at least till the kids are gone. I am looking for a 4.5 and 6 or 7 static drop and have all the parts I need to convert it to five lug disc and 5 lug posi as well as another rust free lw hump auto cab and tranny to some day maybe convert that as well. Life on a shoe string. Thanks
