Drew, My daily driver is a 72 body on a 02 Dodge (because I wanted a cummins) chassis. I used the Dodge instrument cluster by mounting it in a extra glove box door. I cut the back out (the doors are double wall), then cut the hole for the guages in the outer wall. I then welded some mounting studs to the back of the outer wall to hold the guages then sent it out to have the outer edge chromed (like the outer edge of the original plastic ones are). When I got it back I installed a woodgrain decal (my trucks a super) & trimmed out the guage opening with small flexable plastic chrome edging (think door edge guard material).
