Gas tank Filler locations/options?

I know the re-locating of the gas tank has been beat to death so I wont even bring that up.

BUT I have decided to do just that and am using a brand new re-pop 55 chevy passenger car tank.

I hate the idea of mounting the filler neck/fuel cap in the bed and I think I want to route it out the rear of the drivers side fender (I have a stepper) but am open to ideas.

What do you guys think? Out the rear of the stepside fender or out the side of the fender to the rear of the tire? Or any other suggestions? Pictures would be nice.

Thanks,
