Static or Bags, pros and cons

I am antisipating purchasing a 4.5 front 6-7 rear static drop from Brothers this next week but I am not sure it will get me down where I want to be. I could cut the new coils to give me another inch or so, or bag it. I have heard there can be a reliability issue with bags on a daily driver. Bag, valve, pump, electonic failure. I don't. Want to be constantly working on the new suspention set up. After installing it, I simply just want to mess with it again. Any thoughts or experience on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks
