Insurance . . . .

Hey I was wondering what everyone has in the way of insurance. I have full coverage on my truck but I just realized that it's probably harder to value a 1970 restored pickup than it is to value a late model truck. I don't want to be in a situation where somebody hits my truck and the insurance company values it at 3k and totals it because of a smashed bed or something like that. I was considering getting it appraised and sending that to my insurance company or maybe just having the appraiser keep it on file. I will talk to my dad, he is a lawyer and deals with insurance companies all the time. Basically the way I understand it is that my insurance coverage is essentialy the same as it was on my last truck ('98 Dakota). I will have to find out, I haven't been involved enough in this aspect of my truck. It is the only thing my parents pay for me so they tend to take care of it. Thanks much for any advice.
