Brake Line Size - Help

Want to drop in a dual master and split my brake lines. Truck's a 65 c20. Two quick questions.

1) Brake tubing size
2) Will bending pliers suffice to do the job?
3) Any other tips/tricks that I need to know
4) Should I just take it down to the brake shop and have them do it for $150 or so that they estimated (I have the master already).

Thanks in advance.
