Work on a '37 Buick

This isn't about truck but is still related to GM.

Me and my grandpa worked on his '37 Buick Special. It is a beautiful 4 door sedan. Huge in-line 8 - 248 cubic inches - 100 horsepower. The paint is still pretty good. The interior is trashed and smells of cat ( ) We got it to run and it runs well - really well when you consider it is 66 years old and has been sitting in a barn for 15 years. Can't wait to get it finished! Anyone else know much about these things? We are having problems finding some little trim pieces and finding where the optional oil filter was plumbed in. The starter solenoid keeps sticking even though we cleaned it and lubed it. Nothing a crowbar doesn't fix everytime we start it!

To make this thread valid: how do I get the metal rod thing that holds the door open fixed? Can you even replace it or do I have to buy the whole hindge? Mine broke today.
