well, it will get you rolling easier and accelerate a little quicker off the line, too (check the 1st gear ratios between the two) but, yes, if the money's not there right now, your point is well made. I spend a lot of my time in the 45 mph zone where most of the time I keep it in 3rd (1-to-1, same as your high gear). even brief runs on the interstate are awesome, though. I'm staying with traffic at less RPMs than you're turning at 60. it's just NICE
