Fuel Pump Question
I just replaced the fuel pump on my 72 Cheyenne this morning (350/auto). It ran pretty well, drove it round the neighborhood..no problems. I hop back in and run about 10 miles down the road and it dies. When I was giving it gas it was dying/stalling. Pulled it into a parking lot and it dyed completely. Couldn't get it fired back up. Could it be that there's junk in the line and me replacing the pump stirred it up? Or could it be something else? I hate to have someone tow it and tell me it's just junk in the line. I also hate to have it towed back to my house and not be able to fix the problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions & help. - Matt
