headers don't fit?

Hey Guys,

I need some help... I just bought a 65 c10 with 250 ci inline 6cly... the truck came with a set of tube headers and a offenhauser 4bbl manifold... they were not installed so my first job has been to put them on. The problem I'm having is that the three tubes that go to the front half of the motor seem to run right into the the motor mount when I try to install them. The other group of tubes that feed from the rear of the motor seem to fit OK. Has anyone else had this problem? Did chevy put the motor mount in a different location on different size engines? Do I need to remove the motor mount, put on the headers and then reinstall the motor mount? I THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS!

Lars
