SMOG (aka A.I.R) pump rebuilders

Yes, that's right I am looking for a SMOG pump rebuilder. Most people toss SMOG pumps when they seize-up. This usually happens when check valves stuck open which allow exhaust gases to travel into the pump melting impellers.

How difficult it is to re-build these things, parts availability??? Too much PITA for DIY, specialty tools?

Why I am doing this - well since I live in eco-stupid state I have to keep this thing on (even though it does not do anything worth while).
