The pillars are the verticle area that the door hinges bolt to. From the pic yours doesn't look that bad but it's hard to tell. If you can post some pics of your rusted area from different angles it will be easier to see what you need. All of the repair panels are available so everything on an TF is fixable. You are definitely going to need a floor panel. You are most likely going to need inner and outer hinge covers also so you will need to remove the fenders to get to those. With the fenders removed you can get a much better look at the area you are asking about and see what panels you will need. Look in the LMC catalog http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/ca/full.aspx?Page=26 to get an idea of what you are needing.
