In tank fuel pump meets Carb

Im gettin ready to put my engine in my 85 and my block doesn't have a mechanical fuel boss. I really need some input on using the In tank style with a 3 port regulator (inlet, outlet and a return) -6 inlet, -6 outlet and a -8 return to the tank I'll run the pump on a relay with a low oil pressure cut off. Engine is a 30 over 454 zz502 cam 750 Holley carb and big block Chevelle headers. I would like any input or ideas. All of you fuel injection gurus jump in and help me out. Thanks Greg
