'81 K20 Scottsdale Project
I suppose I'll start a project thread for my 1981 Chevy. Picked it up for 500 bucks! The guy I got it from owned it since high school, and it had been sitting in his quonset hut for 2 years. It has 157,000 miles on it, he said that it needed brakes all the way around, and it hadn't run since he parked it. So I got it back to the shop, took the air cleaner off since it was full of junk and put a different one on, checked all of the fluids, put my jumper pack on it, and it fired right up on the second try. It idles nice and everything. Now I can just reach in the cab, turn the key, and she fires up without pumping.
This is what it looked like when she first got to the shop.
