Hope I'm not wasting $$$

I traded for a '68 cab and there's a whole nother story that goes with that story. It's been over a year since I got it and it's no closer to being fixed than when I got it. But, through church and my neighbor, I've met a guy who will do the cab corners and both rockers, along with a little bit of repair on the kick panels and floors, for $500. Considering how much I've already lost on this truck, and knowing I need a cab before I can have a truck to drive....I'm thinking it's a good deal. He figures about 10 hours of labor, plus my parts. I've already got those, so I need to make it happen.

For those of you with a skill set that allows you do your own body work....kudos to you.

I'd throw a pic on here, but I've posted in the past and I'd rather wait and post a pic after the work is done.

Have a good day.
