6 Lug Wheel Not Fitting 6 Lug Rotor.
I have been working on my '65 Panel and today I needed to roll it around a little. I used a CPP modular brake kit with 6 lug rotors. The wheels are US Mag slot mag wheels. These were on the original drum brake spindles without any problems.
The problem I am running into is that the studs on the rotor are just slightly off on 3 or 4 of the stud and using mag wheel style lug nuts with the slot mag, I cannot get the nuts to go into the hole and thread on the studs. Has anyone run into this problem with 6 lug rotors? I think if I was using steel wheels with standard acorn nuts, there is enough "play" to compensate but with mag lug nuts and wheels, they basically need to be dead one. Help! BTW, one rotor seems fine but the other one seems to be off.
