Well I repainted my 1973 GMC Emblem

I have picked up a few of these emblems over the last week. Decided it was time to see what I could do to revive one of them. Yesterday when I purchased this it was coated with about 4 coats of paint. Apparently the previous owner didn't believe in masking tape! This was great for me though as it really preserved the chrome and prevented pitting. After some paint stripper and some tedious masking this is what I ended up with. The orange seems pretty dang close to original to me. Emblem below is for reference of what this looked like before.
