Weather is warming up purchased several trucks before we decided on this one for the restoration. My son will be 15 at the end of July. This is his truck. Lots of pictures now just showing the rust free straight body components. First task is to remove much of the engine compartment, rebuild the motor, convert to power disc brakes, rebuild front suspension to stock and replace wheel bearings and brake components. Remove bed. Jack up cab clean and paint frame. Paint underside of cab and bed. Replace cab using new bushings. We plan a color change. I will paint the firewall, front of bed and back of cab along with interior and door jambs. I will hire someone to paint the exterior.
