Buyers Guide to the Advance Design Trucks, Panels, or Burbs

Hey guys. Having the TF forum merged with the AD forum has caused me a dilemma. I have been building a TF truck for 10 years now, and every time I log in to get some info/read through threads I have the same problem over and over. I am being constantly reminded of how cool the AD trucks are. Now that my TF truck is on the road and driving, although FAR from complete, I am thinking about another project.
I really want an AD Burb, but don't know what I will end up with.

What are the Tips and tricks of the Advance design trucks?
Where are the common places of rust, major things to look for?
I know that whatever I find will have some rust, but I want to know the first places to look to get a baseline of the projects I look at.
Where are the first places to rust out? maybe parts that are not reproduced?
all-in-all ... what should one look for when looking to buy a 1947-55.1 Chevrolet/GMC?

Thanks in advance!
