Re: 72 K20 Cab Body & Paint Complete!
Yes Lake Anna, have done a complete rewire with the American Auto Wire kit. Every wire has been replaced and I am very glad I did. Some of the wires especially underneath were in bad shape. A previous owner had cut and spliced all over the place.
Tire size is 285 75 16. That was the largest that a local Tire Shop suggested putting on the steel wheels I have. I lifted the truck about 2 to 3 inches with a Tuff Country lift kit. New leaf springs up front and about 2 1/2" lift blocks in the back. Wanted the truck to sit level and not have the back too high. Really like the way it turned out. Still have not figured out the fuel fill completely Ryan. Right now it ends underneath the passenger side rear wheel well. I have a fill tube with cap and vent line and am planning on mounting it under that wheel well. The truck sits high enough that I should be able to reach under the wheel well and fill it. We will find out
