VIN number

Ok I can not make sense of my trucks vin number it reads

1GBHC34T....the rest i cant make out. but according to what I have seen

the first three numbers should be IGC for chevy or IGT for GMC.

the 4th number H is the 9001-10,000 hydraulic brakes.-- mine has that

the 5th is C for a 4x2 truck.-- mine is 4x2

the 6th is 3 for the series 1 ton or 30 series.-- Mine is a 1 ton.

the 7th is 4 for a 2 door truck.--- mine is a 2 door

the 8th ( my confusion problem ). the letter T or possibly J. T is for the 4.8 292 v6, J is for the 6.2 diesel v8. my truck has had the motor changed but on the interior visors it has diesel starting instructions. did they put the v6 in 1 ton dually long bed pick ups? also what about the first 3 letters the clearlt do not say IGC or IGT. heres a pic.Name: 100_1980.jpg
