Timing cover question

I've got a 55 235 from a car in my driveway and thinking about removing the timing cover to drill the holes to set it in my 54 pickup and was wondering if there were any hidden bolts to removing it, requiring an oil pan pull or not? Would hate to get it most of the way off only to find I had to get an oil pan gasket and spend the time pulling it too.
