Door build

I guess I have to admit I'm not as smart as a Truck door. I'm having trouble building my doors and getting the front of the glass to track with the vent window when all seals are installed.
Here's what I got 84 cab with cheap 77-91 door, glass is out of 76, regulator from 79,Vent windows I really don't remember but I'm guessing older(79?) since they have 3 screw holes.
I put the regulator in, then glass, then vent, then rear track and scraper seals.
For the life of me I cannot get the front edge of the glass to track without pushing outward no matter if I slide it forward or back. I have a set of 76 vents and 79 vents and they look identical to what I'm installing but something isn't clicking.
Any help is appreciated.
