Wiring harness questions

For my 1970 GMC 2500 Sierra Grande I was -going- to just replace the wiring, but the offered kits look rather generic (with modern fueses too). I've got the main cab harness soaking in my wife's laundy sink and think I can clean it up, but the stuff from the firewall forward isn't really salvageable.

So, my first question is "what's the other side of the fusebox called"? Basically, I need everything from the firewall forward, which would include the other side of the fusebox.

I see "engine harness", but I also need the front lamp harness. Is there some combination of harnesses that will give me that "everything from the firewall forward" that I'm looking for? I'd know what they were if I could see good pictures, but don't know the name they're regularly called by.

Thanks!
Dave
