Jumping in from Colorado

I've been lurking around here for information while I looked for a low buck project (see oxymoron in Websters). I wanted a '70 stepside to park next to my '70 Camaro. I stumbled onto a Craiglist truck yesterday and couldn't talk myself out of it this morning. It's a K10 Longbed Step side not the most desirable but there probably wont be two of them in many parking lots. It has the worst of the the usual cab rust. Both rocker will have to be replaced and of course the bed wood is trash but it's a road worthy truck that starts on the first crank and drove smooth and easy at highway speeds (35 miles on I25 bringing it home) and hasn't fouled my driveway with any type of fluid. For a while it will become my daily driver/project and a vehicle for my 16 year old son while his car is completed ('73 Opel gt). I'll be looking for direction getting the rockers redone best source for patch panels and some detailed project threads. I'll try and post a couple of pictures but at this point it's nothing to get excited about.

Not bad from this angle

Not to good from here
