If they really want it, they're gonna take it but I'm thinking several layers, most have been mentioned already. The big thing is if it's in a stock location, they know how to bypass it. Throw them curves and they'll leave before they figure things out.
Gas tank will be under the bed, remote license plate latch.
Non traditional key ignition (Think Saab) in unusual place with wiring that's not out in the open and sturdier steering wheel lock.
Dual hood latches (Solstice).
Not typical door locks in unusual place. I'm thinking leaving stock door handles in stock place but suicide doors and Corvette handles hidden by mirror.
Hidden battery.
Fuel cutoff after short time.


Those with manuals already have an advantage, most thieves now don't know how to drive a stick!
