changing the temp switchs

I'm in the process of changing over Idiot lights to Gauges, and I need to change the Temp sending switch from the light to the gauge. So I noticed that they are different in regards to the ends the wires plug to.

If you notice in pic #1 is my current sensor and pic#2 is what ill be changing too.. my question is , Do I need to change the end of the wire to accommodate the new head or will the original IL plug head work?

Also if I do require changing the end on the wire to attach to the sensor in pic #2 what does it look like and where would I get it..

Thanks for any help in advance
